It is now required that all Emergency Responders begin to complete on-line training to be in complience with the
DHS-PD #5. NIMS (National Incident Management System) IS 100 and IS 700 programs are self study courses that
are based on the ICS (Incident Command System).
ICS has been used over many years to manage small and large scale incidents such as fires, earthquakes,
hurricanes, and acts of terrorism.
